I started out as a .NET developer in Gurugram, moved to Germany, and spent a year and a half at
trivago building and maintaining the administration platform that advertisers and
accommodations run on — React and TypeScript on top of a Node and GraphQL layer, with Vitest
coverage on everything I shipped and SOX-compliant review on everything I touched.
Today I am a scientific assistant at RWTH Aachen's process-mining group, working on
ToTEM, a Temporal Object-Type Miner for object-centric event logs. I implemented
its Object-Centric Causal Nets: you point the tool at an OCEL and get back an interactive,
auto-laid-out net you can actually explore.
What ties it together is wanting to understand the layer below the one I am working on. That is
what led me into data science, AWS architecture and security.
Outside work I write small, self-contained tools for problems I personally have. Two of them,
Lamplight and RoadReady, started exactly that way.
